Step and Repeat Stands
We have listed several suggestions below for stands depending on your budget.
We have found Amazon to be the cheapest and fastest option for most individual consumer events.
Which stand should I choose?
The EEI Pipe and Drape frame is the best for the heavier 10' long step & repeat backdrops and is a more permanent installation option. These also provide a more professional and polished look as they keep banners tight and offer the smallest trip hazard. Add rubber bases for an increased safety margin.
The EMart 10x8 stand is a more portable and slightly less stable option. If you extended this stand to 10' wide, you may see a slight sag in your step and repeat. This is best for 8' wide backdrops and smaller. This is also good for a more portable short-term installation.
Lastly, the Emart Photo/Video is a super cheap stand option but the tripod legs are prone to being a trip hazard once guests start drinking. We really don't recommend this for a professional job but the cost is attractive for some DIY folks. Generally you get what you pay for!
